Siobhán Fenton is a writer and political commentator on northern Irish, Irish and British politics, based in Belfast.

Her writing has been published by the Guardian, the Independent, the Irish Times, the New Statesman and Vogue.

She has appeared as a political commentator for broadcast media including the BBC, RTÉ and Sky News.

From 2020 to 2024, she was a senior communications adviser to Sinn Féin in the Oireachtas parliament.

A graduate of the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge, she has delivered lectures and seminars about the Good Friday Agreement and northern Irish politics at universities including the University of Cambridge, Queen’s University Belfast, Cardiff University and the University of Tübingen in Germany.

In 2020, she was selected by Yale University and the Washington Ireland Program for their Emerging Leaders fellowship program for young leaders from Ireland.
